Data and Applications Specialist

This position will start in the Red Bank office and move to the Edison location later in 2018.    The Data and Applications Specialist will be part of a team that is engaged in efforts to design, develop, implement and support applications and datasets across the enterprise. The Data and Applications specialist will be expected to implement robust business applications and solutions.    The Data and Applications Specialist will be expected to maintain awareness of new technologies and best practices. This position requires that you must be adept at problem solving, interpersonal relations and have excellent oral/written communication skills. The Data and Applications Specialist will be expected to contribute with hands on development.    Responsibilities:   Minimum 5 years of experience in SQL Server/Oracle design and development  Minimum 5 years of experience in VB.NET design and development  Expert level skills in SQL and database design  Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Intelligence design and development, preferably using Tableau  Minimum 3 years with integration experience (API/Web Service/ETL/Batch)  Self motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.  Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.  Familiarity with Web application security considerations    Responsibilities- Junior Level:   Minimum 1-2 years of experience in SQL Server/Oracle design and development  Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Business Intelligence design and development, preferably using Tableau  Advanced level skills in SQL and database design  Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.  Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.  Integration experience a plus (API/Web Service/ETL/Batch)    Education:  Bachelor's degree (B. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
