The role is responsible to define, jointly with internal and external stakeholders, a strategy and roadmap for IT digital marketing capabilities to support the online presence and growth ambition of our client. This includes creating and leading a team of internal and external IT resources to support an online marketing presence; to develop core platforms to enable the effective and timely deployment of capabilities and best practices
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Work as a trusted and influential subject matter expert and partner with the Corporate Marketing and Sales function to define a progressive digital technology strategy in the areas of e-marketing;
Build and maintain a dynamic set of core capabilities and technology platforms in line with best practices while making it easy to implement and replicate success
Work with IS leaders to align digital technology business plans and capabilities with IS strategies and priorities;
Build, lead and develop a talented organization to deliver the IS digital business strategy, striking the right balance between the use of internal and external services. Furthermore, ensure there is a centralization of core capabilities whilst maintaining proximity to the various Business Units;
Lead a team of associates and contractors, developing talent and fostering team engagement;
Partner with advertising and digital agencies to develop mutually beneficial best practices and technical standards;
Support key business stakeholders in establishing and managing the relationships with key advertising and digital agencies in the digital marketing space;
Identify opportunities to scale core capabilities by leveraging and expanding a portfolio of digital services developed and operated centrally,inclusive of operational service levels and costs;
Co-lead, together with Legal and IS security functions, the digital governance for Security and Compliance of digital assets;
Establish and lead a Super User Group (SUG) for digital marketing with strong links to the Customer Relationship Management Process Leadership Committee (CRM PLC);
Manage multiple large projects that cross-over multiple process areas. Responsible for actively pursuing issue resolution, and communicating project status to business stakeholders and operational management;
Establish and manage an IS digital business operating budget;
Continue professional development and knowledge of leading technologies and processes through attendance at professional seminars and conferences;
Influence senior stakeholders across the company with fluency in the functional area, effective communication, and active listening;
Understand and assess the needs and demand for digital capabilities and create strategies and plans to deliver against these needs;
Foster a network of subject matter experts across the Groups and Divisions, inclusive of IT, business functions, external vendors, and academic institutions;
Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the digital marketing domain, networking with external resources and industry groups;
Lead a team of 4-5 direct reports, including significant management of third party strategic partners with digital capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS and EDUCATION

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or equivalent in experience.
Graduate level of education desirable.
Minimum 5 years experience in IT and/or Marketing related roles, including 3+ years proven leadership of major digital marketing and/or e-commerce initiatives in one or more of the following areas:
SEM and SEO
Web Design
Interactive advertising
Social media advertising
Mobile interactive marketing
Practices breakthrough thinking (strategic agility, learning on the fly)
Creates collaborative relationships (comfort around higher management, customer focus)
Navigates complex challenges (dealing with ambituity, standing alone)
Delivers consistent results (drive for results, priority setting)
Engages associates (managing vision and purpose, motivating others)
Develops talent (developing direct reports, hiring and staffing).

TRAVEL
Between 10-20%.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
