Specific duties will include:
Assisting Sales staff with technical presales;
Meeting with potential clients to discuss project strategy, delivery methodology and solution development;
Interacting with clients and project managers providing project updates;
On site short and long term client projects involving design;, configuration and installation of medium and large VoIP networks;
Follow up documentation and knowledge transfer;
Preparing detailed UC Network designs, including personnel requirements and hours estimates;
Creating Bills of Materials;
Keep up with current trends and developments in Cisco UC.
Requirements:
Experience designing, configuring, installing and troubleshooting small to enterprise sized Cisco UC networks
Hands on experience designing and configuring Cisco Call Manager, Call Manager Express, Cisco Contact Center or Unity
Strong background with Cisco routers, firewalls, switches, voice gateways and PoE switches
Strong background in general networking technologies and concepts
Background in standard voice technologies: tip and ring, PBX, etc.
You must have strong verbal and written communication skills and work well in a team environment.
3 plus years experience for an Engineer; 5 plus years for a Senior Engineer
A current Cisco Voice CCIE is preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
