Our client is a well-established healthcare firm dedicated to sports medicine and injury prevention.
This firm is high highly specialized in medical, providing patients with individualized treatment plans for injury recovery and prevention.
Doctors at this facility will diagnose an injury and delegate potential treatment options that best suit the need of the patients.
This office is located in Monmouth County, NJ.
Currently, they are looking to add a Medical Assistant to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$20/hr - $22/hr plus Overtime Position Overview:
The Medical Assistant will aid with duties such as checking medial history, obtaining vitals, aiding in various procedures, and educating patients.
Additionally, the Medical Assistant will assist the provider on prescription refills, billing information, lab results, and any ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:
Comply with HIPPA regulations and laws keeping patient information confidential.
Keep exam room tidy and replenish with necessary supplies.
Get medical history and background for patients prior to the provider entering the room.
Assist the provider in the room while the patient is present.
Refill prescriptions at the patients' request.
Provide lab results to patient upon retrieval of results.
Record billing information for patients visits.
Assist with other office tasks to support the provider, as needed.
Qualifications for the Medical Assistant:
1
years of medical assistant experience.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED is required.
