Company Our client is a premier investment management firm that makes debt and preferred equity investments in the healthcare industry with a focus on the seniors housing and care industry.

The company is looking for a Portfolio Management Associateto join its dynamic, expanding, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial team.
Location Red Bank, NJ Role A successful Portfolio Management Associate (PMA) will actively participate in the on-going management of investments.
Such responsibilities include analyzing monthly financial statement packages, maintaining up-to-date tracking and covenant compliance models, supporting quarterly investor reporting, assisting with maintenance of portfolio monitoring software, and providing continued due diligence and support to the team to ensure that our return objectives are achieved.
The position requires significant attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, an analytical mindset, an understanding of corporate finance, as well as a demonstrated ability to deliver results within a fast-paced environment.
The individual must be able to work independently with an entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrate great attention to details and adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment, exercise sound judgment and the highest level of discretion in handling confidential materials, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and possess strong presentation skills.
Detailed knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel is required.
This position will be based in Red Bank, NJ and will report to the Assistant Vice President of Portfolio Management.
Employees are required to work Monday through Thursday in the office each week, with the flexibility to work from home on Friday.
Responsibilities Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform detailed review and analysis of reports to draw conclusions about investment performance at both the fund, market, and asset level.
Guide investors through fund due diligence process, including completing diligence requests, handling relevant follow-up, and coordinating investment and operational due diligence meetings amongst the various groups within the firm.
Work closely with Portfolio Management and Asset Management teams to ensure all relevant information about the performance of portfolios and assets are being communicated promptly.
Perform macro, market, and sub-market analysis of US housing and residential mortgage markets to stay abreast of the market, regulatory and other developments, and to evaluate potential new investment opportunities.
Work on research projects, which may include business development initiatives, investor research, and competitive research within the industry.
Track activities, client dialogue, and performance pipeline, and maintain contact information in CRM system during and post-fundraise.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in finance or a related field.
3-8 years' related work experience; public accounting is a plus.
Preference for working knowledge of real estate and credit market fundamentals.
Exceptional math skills.
High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Superior attention to detail.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
